Sally Palmer Thomason
Sally Thomason, born and raised in California, graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles and the International Graduate School of the University of Stockholm in Sweden. She taught history at St. Mary's Episcopal School and was dean of lifelong learning at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where she developed interdisciplinary programs in the humanities and social sciences. After earning a PhD from The Union Institute and University - when she was in her sixties - she continues to explore the ways history and culture shape an individual's life, beliefs and values and through her writings shares her ideas and findings with the reader.
Sally and her husband, John, have three grown children, four grandchildren, and two beagles. They enjoy travel, climbing mountains, and sailing, and spend most of their time these days at their lakeside retreat.
If there's a book you really want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.
